Blood donation is a safe, simple and easy action which is necessary to restore many people’s health or even save their lives.

In Galicia, 500 blood donations are necessary each day. Because of this, and because of the Galician football derby coming soon, the football teams RC Celta and RC Deportivo join forces to promote blood donation, a simple act which can save many lives.

Everyone making a donation will receive a commemorative T-shirt of the Galician derby as a present.

For all these reasons, ESN Vigo wants to encourage you to collaborate with the Centro de Transfusión de Galicia (Galician Transfusion Centre) and do your bit to help those people in need.

How are we going to do this? This Wednesday, 30th March, at 5:00 p.m., an ESN Vigo volunteer will be waiting for you at Plaza América (between Avenida Fragoso and Castrelos) in order to go together to the blood donation.

There will also be donation units at these locations in Vigo:

Monday 28th of March
Calle Barcelona (in front of Guardia Civil’s headquarter, from 15:30 to 21:00)

Tuesday 29th of March
