Speed Meeting + ESNcards @Ourense

Have you just arrived in the city and don’t know anyone yet? Do you want to make new friends from all around the world? Do you want to meet interesting people who share your same interests? Or maybe talk to that person you’ve seen a few times but never had the chance to chat with?

If so, you can’t miss this event! On Wednesday, September 9th at 9:30 p.m. at Charlotte, ESN Vigo invites you to take part in Speed Meeting + ESNcards.

We will form two groups with all participants, and each group will sit on one side of the table. This way, everyone will have five minutes to chat with the person sitting in front of them. Once the time is up, the people sitting on one side of the table will move to sit in front of a new person. The idea is for you to get to know all the participants by asking questions and chatting about different topics. Some examples of questions you can ask are:

• What’s your name?
• Where are you from?
• What are you studying?
• What are your hobbies?
• What kind of music do you listen to?
• How many languages do you speak, and which ones?
• And much more!

It doesn’t matter if you don’t speak Spanish or if your English isn’t perfect, you can talk in whichever language you prefer.

In addition, during this event you will also have the opportunity to get your ESNcard, which allows you to join all ESN-organised trips, enjoy discounts at many local shops and venues in the city, and even get discounts on national and international transport. The ESN Vigo volunteers will be available at all times to help you complete the form and issue your card. Important: don’t forget to bring a passport-size photo!

We look forward to seeing you, and hearing your voice, on Wednesday, September 9th at 9:30 p.m. at Charlotte!
