Cíes Islands Trip

The start of the semester is here and at ESN Vigo we want to kick it off in style! That’s why we’re taking you on a trip to the famous Cíes Islands! Known for their crystal-clear waters, white sandy beaches, and idyllic landscapes, these islands are a true natural treasure and the perfect destination for a spring getaway.

On this trip, you will enjoy a full day surrounded by nature, exploring the island's best spots — including Rodas Beach, named the best beach in the world!. All this with the best company you could ask for – you can’t miss it!

The trip will take place on Sunday, September 27th, and the meeting point will be at the Escultura “O Bañista” at 10:00 a.m. Don’t be late!

The return boat leaves Cíes Islands at 6:30 p.m.

With your ESNcard, the trip (round-trip boat ticket) costs €15.The deadline to register and pay is September 20th (inclusive), or until spots sell out, so don’t wait too long!

What to bring:

  - Lunch, snacks, and plenty of water. There is a restaurant on the island, but we recommend coming prepared.

  - SPF 50+ sunscreen, even if it looks cloudy.

  - Comfortable clothing and footwear, a towel and your favourite swimsuit. We’ll be doing some hiking to explore the island before hitting the beach.

  - A bag for your rubbish. The islands are a protected national park, there are no trash bins, so you must take all your waste back with you. Let’s look after the environment!
