Hiking: Montañas del Mar @Vigo

ESN Vigo brings back to you one more time a small dose of nature (we believe it is a sort of addiction difficult to keep under control) and, as happens with any other sort of addiction in general, we are willing to make it increase. Well, after all, you are in Erasmus, aren’t you?

This time, we are going to walk through a new route, which has both amazing landscapes and other perspectives of our (now also your) beloved city. We will go through the Montañas del Mar, where we will be able to see the Ría de Vigo as you have never seen it. Thus, do not forget to get your camera ready! Besides, sportwear is fairly sexy and it may give you a surprise. The route is going to take a little more than four hours, more than in the previous occasion. However, this route is much easier, and with less steep slopes. We will reach two peaks and we will stop to eat on the second one. A few minutes later, we will make our last descent and then we will go home.

The meeting point will be the same place as the last time, at Plaza de España at 09:20 a.m. on Sunday, 3^rd December (next to the petrol station). On Sundays there are not many buses, so we have to adapt to the schedules. To come back, we will have to take the bus at 03:00 p.m. at the end of the route. We will have time for taking photos and for eating, but we will set a good pace since we are likely to be a large group, which makes it difficult to keep going on the route.

As we warned you last time, do not forget to bring comfortable shoes, sunscreen, water, food and a coat. The temperature is already too cold, and our immune system may give up if we are not eating properly.
